Daisy

Daisy is about 2 years old and came to the rescue in September of 2017, it quickly became evident that she had issues that require daily cleaning and regular vet visits.

Daisy is a lovely little girl, she hardly ever huffs or balls but she is very shy and not keen on light. She likes snuggles and loves chasing meal worms but if you try and give her fruit she will just throw it back at you, literally!

Due to her health issues Daisy will stay within the rescue being spoilt, living the high life of mealies and hugs.

Holly came into the rescue April 2016 along with her daughter, thought to be around 4 1/2. It soon became obvious her age was catching up with her as she was unable to eat dry cat food, so she has them soggy.

She isn't the most active in her old age, she has lost her eyesight to cateracts so the decision was made to keep her in the rescue, where she lives in luxury, with lots of cuddles and love.

She is a very friendly old girl who loves to relax in her pouch while cuddling, or in her fleecey tunnel in her viv.

Her favourite things are wheeling sleeping and eating her soggy biscuits, she was tried on this as it was noticed that she wasn't eating very many dry biscuits.

Initially a little huffy she settled really quickly and will now have the occassional cuddle, mainly after a nice bath which she has with her toy ducks for company. Its after a bath that she then  turns in to the extra cute hoggy as you can see from her photo.

Although a older lady she isn't slowing down and seems a happy lively girl with lots of love to give.

Tiggy

Tiggy

Being around 6 years old now, Tiggy is one of the oldest resident hogs up for sponsorship in the rescue, and she has had a long active life.

It was in the August of 2013 that she first joined us, and 2 ½ years she was handed back into the rescue.  It was then decided because of her age, she was too old to adopt out again.

Although her ‘old age’ is not slowing her down as she is very active.

Named after the bubbly chocolate bar, Aero is a lovely looking hog with a cruel past.  She doesn’t mind posing for the odd photograph and is clearly not a shy girl.

She was handed into the rescue in May 2015 and is an estimated 3 years old now.

Having a number of concerns including her fluctuating weight, she has remained as a permanent so that this can be monitored very closely.
